After a successful tender process we started out by finding more about our new client Helix Binders. The company provide bookbinding services for a range of products and sectors. From replacing library books to supplying thesis binding and specialised products, we soon seen just how vast this service was. This was the company’s first venture into a website and also associated marketing. All products provide sustainable life to reading materials and it was insightful to see just how much this process was a benefit to many customers.
Brief
As Helix Binders expanded it became apparent that a new identity and website was not just something they wanted but also something they and their clients also needed. We were asked to evaluate the company’s existing brand and identity and re brand with a view of transferring the company’s ethos to a bespoke website. A clear high end product was evident but what also shone through in our research was the company’s ability to transfer damaged books back to former glory, creating new sustainable products.
Creative
It was important to us and to our client that we focused on the quality of the products. For us, one thing would do just that, dynamic, bespoke imagery that highlighted this unique offering. We decided from early on that we would split the company’s services into three segments: Library, specialised and textbook. We understood just what a difference many of these products made and that needed a creative approach that not only justified the quality of product but also made prospective clients aware of this sustainable and unique offering. Our creative process led us to the conclusion that Helix Binders were creative.
Conclusion
After completing the web site and new brand and identity Helix Binders now have a clear message to send out and one that is very easy to buy into, not only the benefits of these services but also buy into the company’s objectives. All materials now allow Helix Binders to take their place as a leading book binding solution for many sectors. Visitors to the site have commented that they love the way the books are expressed through the images and the use of before and after images brings a realisation that this is a sustainable option for tired books.
